 People describe a spiritual experience they have had and then I paint what they see, I paint what they don't see, I paint what I see, and I paint what I don't see. I also paint spiritual experiences of people I have not yet met. I focus on a spiritual experience of a person without consciously knowing who that particular person is. I know they will recognize their spiritual experience when they see and feel the painting. They will BE with the painting, KNOW it is theirs and ALLOW it into their life.  9/29/04 - 2/21/05 Taos, New Mexico Linda's brother Ron commissioned me to do a painting of a spiritual experience he had when he was here for Linda and David's wedding in 2004. I spoke with him on the phone and he related his experience. I made a few notes - 2 rabbits, 2 ravens - Ron heard the wind under their wings as they flew by him and across the gorge bridge, one in front of the other - into a light firey star-cross of a sunrise over the mountains. It felt like everything was in slow motion. Ron felt at peace. He said he did not want to control any part of the painting - that he totally trusted Linda and knew that I would create the painting he needed. He and his wife, Margaret, have a large wall space in their beautiful home that is perfect for the painting. The painting is 48" x 36". There are 130 total coppers tacks which form the copper healing grid that is projected out to the viewer. 130 reduces to a 4 - the energy of the number four is a practical base, therefore the spiritual energy of this painting is a practical working tool for Ron to use. I gessoed and sanded the canvas and took it out to the gorge at sunrise to allow it to be permeate with those energies. It is an honor to be part of Ron's journey.
The Vesica Piscis symbolizes the fusion of opposites which creates a portal from the world of pre-existence form into the manifested creation. The presence of the whole is in every part. Harmonic form is a type of spiritual truth that can be recognized by people of all faiths. We are one. Painting is an active meditation for the creator of the paintings and a method of visual instruction for those who receive them.
Silver grey ravens - so much light that they are not seen as black. Grey ravens are spirit animals - grey = Ron's spiritual color - Ron's native name is Grey Feather! I sent him a silver grey feather. In the painting the silver grey ravens represent Grey Feather (Ron).
The Rio Grande Gorge
Thursday February 10, 2005 3:00 AM (Ron called and shared his morning ritual) I AM here! Can't you see my feeling self? Can't you feel my feeling self? You can see my feeling self. You can feel my feeling self. I AM Grey Feather calling Raven Spirit. I AM Grey Raven. I come to you WhiteHawk in your Dream Space. Gorge - No other 2 leggeds. I walk West toward the gorge bridge - Mountains to the East. I walk. Center of bridge - platform - look North. River below- coming from Sangre de Christo Mountains - Rocky Mountains. This river has flowed through this body. I wonder and I walk. Picnic tables on left - walk South. Dessert in West - vibrant - I smell sage and juniper. Stones piled on both sides of the path and I wonder. A bench facing East. Circle the altar, close my eyes and look East. Stand up and walk to rim. River flows under bridge that connects East and West. I touch East - I AM - ask for forgiveness. I touch South - I AM - ask for forgiveness. I touch West - I AM - ask for forgiveness. I touch North - I AM - ask for forgiveness. I touch Sun - I AM - I AM. I walk, I walk, I walk. I feel incredibly well. Reds, blues, yellows - Rabbit in the East - we look at each other in the eyes. Piled Stones - Rabbit - we acknowledge each other - I walk, I walk, follow my thoughts. Rays of sun are touching me. I feel different, I know different. Gorge Bridge facing East Walk East - looking into the light. I AM Light - I AM Light. I AM Light - I AM Light. I AM Light - I AM Light. I don't remember crossing the bridge. I give thanks for the walk. On my left is raven taking off - 2nd raven takes flight - everything goes into slow motion - They fly into the Light I AM Grey Raven - messenger of God. I come to you WhiteHawk in your dream space. I see 2 Ravens - between your dream world and real world. God is blessing you. 2/10/05 I received the impression to include a ribbon of the Rio Grande River in the painting.
Yellow - Amber - Gold - the aura of the earth radiating with the new Crystal Energy - the Golden Flame - healing. The title of Ron's painting is "Raven Grey Feather"

4/12/05 - Ron phoned me with a sub-title that came to him. The complete title is "Raven Grey Feather: A Journey of Spiritual Intimacy"
4/7/2005 Ron's painting will be the cornerstone painting for a series of 5th dimensional paintings of spiritual experiences that people have had - people I have not yet met. They will each recognize their painting when they see it. Many layers - much sanding - sacred geometries - feathers.
