Capes used in a performance piece. The capes became the Spiritual
Keepers of the East, South, West, and North in the Sacred Space
Installation of my Masters' Theses Exhibition. Eleven paintings made up
the floor, ceiling and walls of a symbolic Inipi (Sweat Lodge). I piled
rocks in the middle of the floor painting to represent the pit where
the heated rocks are placed. The lighting was minimal and the Native
American flute music added to the ambiance. I have enjoyed many hours
in the space by myself and with others. ,br>
