Technologies That Harness the Sun
For centuries scientists have known that plants are dependent upon
sunlight for photosynthesis. But, only recently has science recognized
the similarities between humans and plants in their dependence upon
light. Today we know that energy from the sun's rays, photons, controls
vital processes in both plants and people. In humans, photons are the catalyst for the production of sugars, fats, and proteins.
Photons stimulate the endocrine system, metabolic processes and enzyme reactions as well as activities in the brain.
When this connection is disturbed, disorders follow. For example, when enzymes in the body's cells which should normally be
activated, fail to receive the wavelengths of light, they remain dormant. As a
result, they cannot start up normal, cellular metabolic reactions. This
translates into lower cellular energy, glandular insufficiencies and reduces ability to burn fats and toxins.

How Light Effects The Human Body
Dr. Jacob Liberman, O.D., Ph.D., author of Light Medicine of the
Future describes the body as a living photocell, stimulated and
regulated by light. "Our lives, our health and well-being are truly
dependent on the sun. The human body is nourished directly by eating
foods, drinking fluids, or breathing air that has been vitalized by the sun's light energy."
When light enters the eye, millions of light sensitive cells convert
the light into electrical impulses. These impulses travel along the
optic nerve to the brain where they trigger the hypothalamus gland. The
hypothalamus is part of the endocrine system, which governs most
automatic bodily functions such as blood pressure, temperature,
breathing, digestion, sexual function, moods, the immune system, and circadian rhythm.
Studies conducted by Martinek and Berezin in 1979 found that some
wavelengths of light could stimulate certain enzymes to be 500% more
effective and other wavelengths can affect the movement of substances
across cell membranes. More recently research shows that sunlight
stimulates the thyroid gland to increase its hormone levels,
translating into increased metabolism and weight loss.
Experimental animals that receive sunlight lose weight, compared to
animals given the same diet but not full spectrum sunlight. These and
other findings indicate that increased solar energy accelerates the
burning up of fats, sugars, and toxins.
The Beneficial Effects Of Far Infrared
When any tissue in the body is exposed to Far Infrared Rays (FIR),
waves radiated by sunlight, reflect specially coated fabrics or ceramic
panels there is a rapid increase in warmth, which can be shown by
thermographs. This heat plus the activation of several other response
mechanisms stimulates the healing processes...
- Increased blood flow by promoting dilation (expansion) of the micro-circulatory system of capillaries.
- Reduced muscle spasms as muscle fibers are heated.
- Remove toxins from the site receiving FIR waves.
- Assist in the reduction of swelling and inflammation by improving lymph flow.
- Reduce soreness through direct action on both free-nerve endings in tissues and on peripheral nerves.
- At the cellular level, researchers have discovered that specific FIR wave lengths:
- Stimulate enzyme activity.
- Promote the adhesion and osmosis of water molecules across the cellular membrane.
- Attract calcium ions to the cellular membrane.

How FIR Works |
FIR Waves Reduce Acidity
FIR waves of the sun are the part of the light spectrum most
responsible for the ripening of fruits which convert other
carbohydrates into sugar. This process of reducing acidity can be
tested by putting half a lemon in the sun for one or two days or on an
infrared coated plate for about one hour. The infrared-exposed half
will be significantly sweeter than the other half.
FIR waves reflected from wraps or blankets to the body provide
concentrated radiant energy, similar to that from the sun. For example,
FIR wraps applied directly to overworked muscles reduce lactic acid
while FIR blankets or bed pads often provide an overall reduction in general body acidity during sleep.

Wellness Technology Giant Harnesses "The Energy of Life"
According to Dave Balzer, a cutting-edge technology researcher and
vice-president of product development, life itself can't exist without far-infrared energy.
"It's called the energy of life. The frequency of life. That's what
Asians call it," Balzer says. "For thousands of years, they knew the
energy was important even without knowing the science behind it.
Far-infrared operates at the resident frequency of biological tissues.
And the dominant component of biological tissue is water, which is like
a far-infrared sponge. When something is exposed to the frequency it
naturally vibrates at, it's going to function the way it's supposed to."
